2/4/2024讯 : 据植保部门称，越南自 2022 年 9 月开始正式出口榴莲以来，中国已以镉(cadmium)污染为由退回了 30 批榴莲。
该部门国际合作与交流部门负责人 Nguyen Quang Hieu 在周一的新闻发布会上表示，它占同期榴莲出口量的 0.01%。
他说，这尚未影响榴莲出口，但对生产商来说是一个严重警告。
他说，该部门尚未确定镉的来源，可能是土壤、水或附近工厂的排放物。 他补充说，镉也可能存在于清洗产品的水中。
在官员们努力查明来源的同时，该部门建议生产商加强对投入和耕作方式的控制，并在运输前彻底检查镉含量。
越南果蔬协会承认，中国已多次就越南榴莲中的镉污染发出警告，但最新的警告更为紧迫。

2023年，中国从越南进口榴莲49.3万吨，价值21亿美元，数量和价值比上年增长1,107% 和 1,036%。
越南拥有708个榴莲种植区和168个符合中国进口质量标准的包装设施。
